Tab

Hardened tablets that display, and do nothing else

What it does

Hardened tablets that display, and do nothing else

Tab is the delivery endpoint: locked-down tablets docked at the exam centre that decrypt and display the question paper only when the exam window opens. Devices are hardened to restrict connectivity and prevent capture during the exam.

Capabilities

  • Locked-down devices dedicated to a single purpose: displaying questions
  • Offline operation during the exam — no internet dependency at candidate desks
  • Docking-station management for charging, sync, and physical control
  • Per-device authorisation: a tablet outside its assigned centre shows nothing
  • Device hardening measures to restrict connectivity and screen capture

Why it matters

  • This is where the digital paper meets the candidate — on a device designed to show the question and make extraction as hard as possible.
  • Every action inside Tab is recorded in the audit chain the commission can inspect.
  • Deployment scope is chosen with the authority — adopt Tab alone or as part of the full lifecycle.

Modules are best judged in sequence. A confidential demonstration, followed by a structured pilot, runs the workflow under your supervision.
